Electronic Arts are preparing for the onslaught of questions which is bound to accompany the imminent release of The Sims 3, which hits shelves from June 2nd in the United States and June 5th in Europe.
An official ‘The Sims’ branded support website has been official opened by EA, which you can see for yourself right now at http://easims.custhelp.com! This support website is not specifically to cover The Sims 3, but all games and expansion packs from The Sims and The Sims 2 as well.
The support website allows you to browse to any game from The Sims series’ that you may be experiencing some kind of issues with in order to find common questions, advice and of course solutions to problems that others have reported in the past for the same titles.
If you can not find an answer to your problem by browsing through The Sims support website, it does give you the ability of emailing the EA support team directly so they can assist you with your problem.
I just had a look at the site. Looks very interesting, can’t wait to see it when TS3 is released!
Hopefully it won’t crash from through a huge number of complaints about the game! I’m sure it’ll be watertight with no faults at all, especially after the 4 months extra they gave themselves by delaying it’s release

Just want to know were and how do u install downloads like objects and lots in the game. If treid to do it the same way as the sims 2, in the download file but it dosen’t seem to work. If any body can help me please.
i’ve installed sims 3 on my packard bell computer today, but when i wanted to play it, it says “unable to start game. device 0 cannot run this title. you video card does not appear to support at leastshader model 2. please upgrade your card”

I downloaded the sims and it works fine … for about 1/2 an hour at which point it crashes and then i have to restart it. This is really annoying because it means i can’t save my work and hae to continually redo and try and save the work before it crashes, which means savin every 5 – 10 mins. This is really annoying. Recently my game will only play for 5 mins and then crash! Please tell me why and try and help me sort this out …

I am disappointed in this game…I was very excited to get the game and couldnt wait to play. Then i got home and nothing but frustration came from this game. It doesn’t run properly and is incredibly slow. I’m returning it as soon as possible.

I need help. I recently registered my game so I could get “$10 worth of free Simpoints” to buy extra stuff. Most of the things I bought wouldn’t download; yesterday it said they were “queued for download” and now they don’t show up in the installer when I go to the Downloads tab. If this helps at all, I have a brand new Toshiba Satellite laptop. I don’t know if it’s the computer or the game.
Im having the same problem with saving my game as Katy number 10. It says wont save error 12. I have played a game before and the same thing happened. I have very little downloads etc on my computer.
Okay everyone who’s having problems with the game – its not the game’s fault. To install the game you need a certain amount of memory space, and then some graphical, ect, system requirements. i installed it on an almost-new macbook with lots of free memory space and it works quickly (except for the loading when you enter a new town, but that is supposed to be a little slow) and so far not many problems! Make sure you meet system requiremts before blaming it on the game people!!

I’m an software engineer myself, and I have looked at Sims 3 and worldadvantures extention that my daugther has installed (official release). To be honnest I’m not impressed by the quality of the software.
The way Sims 3 and worldadvantures are handling for example memory, managing access pointers, treating patches, etc looks very poor to me. The software is not respecting system setting (changing screen settings, etc.).
The first thing everybody ask: “Is the system meeting the requirements, it can’t be the software”. Well the system my daugther is using is meeting the required specs (XPS M1330: dual core, Vista, etc.). Next thing is are your drivers up to date. The answers are yes. They people tell you Vista is the problem. Sure! My dagther has installed several games. No problems at all.
My conclusion is simple. The quality of the software is poor.
Hey guys I’m having a problem on my Sims 3 Ambitions. my Sim is a sculptor and he was asked to make an ice sculpture for the police dept. and after i finished the sculpture it wont let me put it in my inventory so i can deliver it to them. I have tried everything click and drag wont work and if i just click on the sculpture all it says is view. please help I’m going crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Has anyone had issues with the Sims 3 shutting down randomly while playing weather play or in building mode ? I am having this issue EVERYTIME I play. I play for about an hour or so and the game completely shuts down without saving anything I did. Can someone please help me with this because it’s really starting to get on my nerves. Thanks
To deliver your ice sculpture you need to put it in your family inventory ( buy mode) then you can deliver it
Hola. Tengo un problema hace tiempo me compre el cd base de los sims3 y hoy me he comprado los sims3 triunfadores y los sims3 diseño i tecnologia. Al instalarlo aparentemente todo esta bien pero cuando abro el juego no hay nada nuevo ni cambiado!
(ademas de que me pide el cd base aunque haya instalado una extension) No se que hacer y si porfavor a alguien le ha pasado algo parecido que me diga que puedo hacer!

I’m having the same problem as Erika number 19. The start up launcher won’t work, ever since it went through the upgrade. Which apparently upgraded it to version 0.

hey, im having trouble with the sims 3. everytime i create a sim I start to create it and then the screen turns blue for like 3 seconds with writing on it and so i start it back up and it does the same thing everytime. also when i choose one of the families that comes with the game in the beginning and i choose a house and start to play and then it freezes and goes back to the desktop. i need help ASAP please.

i have a hdmi lead to my tv from my computer because the computter screen broke but befor i got the lead sims 3 worked but no what it does is i click on it and ot goes to the menu thing i click play and it load and then the tv goes blue and as my screens broke i cant see it so i dont know what happened im going to game asap to ask them to maybe clean the disk or tell me what to do sims 2 works like a jem but sims 3 is very disapointing really if it helps i have a 2007 compaq withe 2007 windows vista if any one can help

I put my SIMS on “allow aging” also on “epic lifespan”. It says 960 days but my sims age is now 966 days??? how long will she live?

Okay, I am able to save the game and quit ,but when I want to go on it again it is unsaved and says eeror!!! I am really getting angry!! I had this amazing family and then it unsaved and was gone…It took me 1 year to make such a family tree and now it is all for nothing!!!! I am very frustrated. Now my game wont even work, it goes onto the first little page when you click on the desktop link but It says look at the log and fix it (or something like that) -HELP ME!!!!! I need help BAD!

Well I am mad, I was so happy when I get the sim 3. Now its stopped working and I got it in June and it stopped working after 3 months! It said something about an error. I uninstalled it ,but then i realized i didn’t have my code anymore to re-install it. Either they need to give me my money back or give me a new game! I need the number to call!

Game works fine for me, but as someone stated earlier I can’t get my profile rolling online.
My game’s registered, my account is made and I can even log in. The thing is, I can’t do a thing from that point on. Any link I try takes me offline and I’m required to login again..
I have a problem when I try to log on to the Sims 3 wesbite. Every time I try to log on it says “we are experinecing a few technical difficulties, we’ll be right back” but its been like this for a week now. Why is this????? I signed up to try the Sims 3 closed beta free trial and after logging on the website it works up until loading up to the point of finishing. after that it just freezes i’m wondering if anyone else has had this happen.tbh i don’t care if it does’ent work but its just weird it does’ent load for me..

I love the sims 3 medieval, but it gives me a bluescreen after I am down to about 40 quest points. I really like the game, except that. I save it before I place a building, and when I try to load it when it crashes, I cant and got to restart. I hope the issue is resolved
Okay, so I’m pretty upset with the website. I’ve been looking for help on logging in because no matter what I do, I keep getting the “invalid login information” screen when I use my correct email address and correct password. When I tried to contact customer support, it redirects me to the “Help” website. When I try to contact someone, it tells me that I need to log in first.
I’ve cleared my history and cache. I’ve used three different browsers. I’ve reset my password four times. My account hasn’t been deactivated because I can still find my screenname on the site.
I’ve also read on other websites that this problem goes back to 2009. Should I just not even bother with the website anymore and stop investing my money in EA games?

I need some help. About a month ago I installed a mod for the sims 3. It could have been a virus…cuz ever since then, I havent been able to play sims. It wont let me. The launcher doesnt open and neither will the game. I tried uninstalling sims 3 and then reinstalling. Still nothing. Anyways…please help me. I love sims 3. It used to work on my lap top without any problems.
By the way, apparently the EA Downloader is now uninstalled. Maybe thats why its doing this. But it wont let me reinstall it. I tried and it said that it is already on my computer.

I have had a problem with some families in the sims 3, when I choose to start play in them, it normally will be possible to load and such stuff and then you start play, but I can’t do that in those families, it just don’t load and I just see the world but i can’t do anything so then I have to turn off the game, what will I do?
in the sims 3, my childrens bodies are messed up. their face is their butt! and it is like that even when im in creat a sim mode. any suggestions??
I am so frustrated with Sims–all of them. GAH!!! *headbangs* Personally, I think it really really stinks that when one loads an expansion pack that the game doesn’t load or run at all unless you continue to have the expansion pack disc in the drive. That’s just so wrong. What’s the freaking point? All it does, when I travel, is make me take a lot of additional nonsense with me so I can play. And its a pain in the butt. If I keep any of my sims games at all, my guess is that I”ll just delete them all completely and reload the basic games and sod the expansion packs. I HATE IT! On second thought, perhaps I need to find a game that honestly works it if offers expansion packs. >.<
