The news that every The Sims 3 fan has been waiting for since the release of the game in June is on the verge of being announced, Sims3Website.com understands, as the rumour-mill is overheating with talk of The Sims 3: Destination Adventure.
Though no official word has been revealed by Electronic Arts themselves at this stage, the rumours have become increasingly strong as the day has progressed and this is quite often a sign of a true word which was somehow leaked from a reliable source – unfortunately at this stage our only source are the whispers within the fans community and in particular some interesting content we came across at Gamespot earlier today.
One french retailer are so convinved that this expansion will prove to be real, they have already added it to their online store and have stated a November 2009 release date. Perhaps they know something that we don’t.
What will The Sims 3 Destination Adventure be all about then? Obviously until the game itself is officially confirmed, anyone who suggests they know are blatant liars, but we are all free to speculate.
The name, The Sims 3 Destination Adventure, to us suggests that it will involve the addition of new locations that your sims will be able to travel to by breaching out of Sunset Valley, or Riverview if that’s where you prefer to spend your simming time – though we would expect it to be something different to the old Vacation and Bon Voyage expansions that we saw for The Sims and The Sims 2.

I think that people should stop spreading these rumours about what could possibly be the next sims expansion pack, we should wait until EA releases information from a reliable source, people are just getting themselves into a hysteria.
Well, Sarah, the game is targeted toward teens, therefore, hysteria is a given. LOL
I seriously think any EP will bring scenario’s for us to solve. EA Games has seen how very, very popular the Legacy stories became with the Sims2, so why not expand on it?
I know I often wanted, and commented, that I would really like it if game could be set to make some of the more difficult Legacy rule sets so we couldn’t break them.
I would love to see an EP that allows players to write their own scenario’s. Such as Pinstar’s Apocolypse Legacy… if they could set the game to only allow the purchase of certain items at the start, and only unlock the blocked items as the proper conditions are met… it would make it much simpler for others to play and not worry about breaking or bending any rules.
People could upload their scenario’s for others to try out & recommend if they liked it.
in Australia it says that it will be released in November
i agree with Sarah WIlliams
but we have to let the other people say what ever they want because we know that the true is with EA
