Confirmed The Sims 3 Cheats
During the game, press and hold CTRL, SHIFT and C to open up the cheats command box, then enter the following codes to activate the desired cheat.
Motherlode
Adds 50,000 simoleons to your funds.
Kaching
Adds 1,000 simoleons to your funds.
Moveobjects on
Allows you to move objects which are not possible to move during open gameplay. The code Moveobjects off will return this setting to normal.
fullscreen [off]
Allows you to play The Sims 3 in a window. The code fullscreen [on] will return the game to full-screen mode.
jokePlease
A random joke will be displayed in the cheats command box.
fadeObjects [off]
Prevents objects from fading when the game camera gets closer. The code fadeObjects [on] will return the setting to normal.
unlockOutfits [on]
Enter this code before using Create-A-Sim to unlock all service and career uniforms to be usable. The code unlockOutfits [off] will return this setting to normal.
fps [on]
Your games frames-per-second rate will be displayed in the corner of your screen. The code fps [off] will return this setting to normal.
hideHeadlineEffects [on]
This will hide thought and speech bubbles. The code hideHeadlineEffects [off] will return this setting to normal.
resetSim [forename] [surname]
This will send the specified Sim to their home in a neutral state.
constrainFloorElevation [false]
Allows you to raise or lower the ground with objects and walls on it. The code constrainFloorElevation [true] will return this setting to normal.
disableSnappingToSlotsOnAlt [on]
This will prevent objects from snapping to grid-lines when the ALT key is held. The code disableSnappingToSlotsOnAll [off] will return this setting to normal.

kenzie, if it sais its unknown then you should check how you spelled it. i kept trying motherlode and spelled it motherload. its an american game so try to spell it the way it is. also on sims3…you need to put >testingcheatsenabled true< thats the cheat! befor loading your game. that will let do so munch more!! look it up to see wut yuo can do with it! also look up familyfunds [last name] [amount of money] testing cheats must be enabled for it to work! fill the last name in with your sims last name and the money thing with however much money you want! dont forget the spaces!

Katie, when you clicking on the mail box, you have to hold shift button.
It is working (at last for me).

a career cheat i used works well you press shift control and c and tipe in testingcheatsenabled true and press shift on the mail box in says different careers!but if that is your sims dream it does not accompliss
testingcheatsenabled true is supposed to be put as “TestingCheatsEnabled True”
And if your career is your LTW, you have to actually go to the job before it is accomplished.
@alireza; when you have enterd testingcheatsenabled true AND shazaam; then you have to go to your sims lifetime happiness and click between the treasure box and the numbers.. somewhere in between.. you just need to try it, keep clicking, and then it will work.. thats how it worked for me.. =)
Hi, I have tried to use the moveObjects cheat, after I enter it nothing happens, help! I’ve also entered the unlockOutfits cheat at nothing happened, i’ve even entered it before I went into CAS. What am I doing wrong !?

Testing cheats enabled is the best cheat I think, You have to press shift-ctrl-c and then the box will open up, then you will right in ‘testingcheatsenabled true’ and enter. Then if you want to set your career, make me know everyone, make needs static etc… you PRESS SHIFT ON THE MAILBOX, and then it will all come up
