Some more The Sims 3 cheats have recently been confirmed due to an increasing number of fan-day events, and a few cheeky fans trying out some cheats which appeared in The Sims and The Sims 2 when nobody was looking.

Confirmed The Sims 3 Cheats
During the game, press and hold CTRL, SHIFT and C to open up the cheats command box, then enter the following codes to activate the desired cheat.
Motherlode
Adds 50,000 simoleons to your funds.
Kaching
Adds 1,000 simoleons to your funds.
Moveobjects on
Allows you to move objects which are not possible to move during open gameplay. The code Moveobjects off will return this setting to normal.
fullscreen [off]
Allows you to play The Sims 3 in a window. The code fullscreen [on] will return the game to full-screen mode.
jokePlease
A random joke will be displayed in the cheats command box.
fadeObjects [off]
Prevents objects from fading when the game camera gets closer. The code fadeObjects [on] will return the setting to normal.
unlockOutfits [on]
Enter this code before using Create-A-Sim to unlock all service and career uniforms to be usable. The code unlockOutfits [off] will return this setting to normal.
fps [on]
Your games frames-per-second rate will be displayed in the corner of your screen. The code fps [off] will return this setting to normal.
hideHeadlineEffects [on]
This will hide thought and speech bubbles. The code hideHeadlineEffects [off] will return this setting to normal.
resetSim [forename] [surname]
This will send the specified Sim to their home in a neutral state.
constrainFloorElevation [false]
Allows you to raise or lower the ground with objects and walls on it. The code constrainFloorElevation [true] will return this setting to normal.
disableSnappingToSlotsOnAlt [on]
This will prevent objects from snapping to grid-lines when the ALT key is held. The code disableSnappingToSlotsOnAll [off] will return this setting to normal.

For maxmotives;
Type testingcheatsenabled true. Doesnt need caps at all. Then hold shift + click on the mail box. Then click make needs static, it will bring up your needs and keep them high

ctrl _ alt and enter, but i think after most cheats for need to put true/false on/off or they dont work, i like the -Testingcheatsenabled true- and right clicking the mailbox to make my sims needs static so i can work on their skills, and its easy if i want them to reach a certain level in their job

i have a female sim who got pregnant., and when her labor began, she was fishing at the graveyard, so i didnt want her to labor then… so i clicked the action que in the top left, to cancel it.. and now she is ALWAYS pregnant! that means i cant travel, get a job, or do certain other things. i cant kill her either. tried to drown her, thinkin she has a death flower, i can bring her back and maybe then she wont b preg. nope. wont die. what is the reset sim thing for listed in the cheats? dont want to use it if she’s gonna lose her skills and visas. anyone know what i can do? already tried to “get pregnant” again, hoping it would “force” birth… no luck.. ideas anyone? would b grateful!!

Some people are having issues with wanting more than a family of 8, if u type in the ‘testingcheats ect.’ thing u can Shift click any random sim (not part of ur family) and add them whatever num. of family sims u got. The problem is their little picture on the side wont show unless another family sim interacts with that no show sim, though that little picture makes nother family sims pic go off the screen. You have to keep interacting with the off screen sims to get them onscreen.
I don’t like it, pretty annoying.

Is there a way to make the sims not be blurry when they’re taking a shower and stuff? because when i’m trying to make a short film I cant do a scene that would require the sim to be in the tub because it’s too blurry.

all motive bars for all sims in our active household will fill completely & lock in place.
to max skills make needs static
then:
4 athletic have a sim pump iron at the gym-theyre needs wont go down if u use the cheat above so u can make them exersize 4 hours. if u need to use the cheat click on your sim click modify traits and change 1 trait to athletic to help them develop the skill then after theyve gained all the athletic skill u want them to change it back.
4 cooking have them buy & read all cookbooks after using the needs cheat u can get their skill max 4 cookin without ever actually making a meal i haave personally done this b4. the natural cook trait helps in this (use testingcheatsenabled true!)
4writing have them refine theyre skill on a comp. since u have the full needs they can do this 4 hrs. bookworm & artistic traits help w/building this skill. if ur sim doesnt have these cheats:
press ctrl+shift+c
type in testingcheatsenabled true
hit enter
then click or shift-click your sim
select
“modify traits”
and voila!
You can also use this to change your sims traits back after they gain the skill
4easy writing skill building.
4 logic get them 2 the park and have them play chess for awhile this 1 takes a long time but atleast u can have them do this without starving or low needs.the genuis trait helps with this use testingcheatsenabled true then click your sim and select ‘modify traits’.
4charisma have them take the class or read the basic book 1st. u can also shift click the mailbox w testing cheatsenabled true on and click make me know every1. then u can scroll through and drag the meters up to full green so ur sim has a lot of bffs. bffs count as relationships so this is an easy way 2 fulfill the super popular LTW (LIFETIME WISH) and fill the relation/friend-ship requirements 4 charisma. then u can throw a big paarty and invite all of ur sims new bffs and talk to all of them for several hours. alt. u can have ur sim practice speech infront of a mirror (this is better if ur sim is a loner, fyi!)change a trait to charismatic to improve this skill faster.
4 painting they can take the class or just practice for hours on an easel. slow but worth it!
to improve this skill or the writing skill quicker change 1 of ur sims traits to artistic u can do so by using the testingcheatsenabled true cheat clicking on your sim and selecting ‘modify traits’.
4 music they can take the class or just practice guitar for hours. u may want to give them the virtuoso trait temp. to improve this skill quicker.

have her eat watermelon for a girl and apple for a boy. 3 of either should work but click the corner and queue them all so she’ll eat them in a row.
forcetwins should work (if u want twins) if testingcheatsenabled true is on.
if u use testingcheatsenabled true u can delete mommy’s backaches. use ctrl shift click* on the moodlet when it appears. this can be used on any moodlet as long as you are using testingcheatsenabled true.
*= I apologize if this does not work, I use a Mac for my simming and translate the cheats when posting about them for windows use but this one i have no idea if this is the windows equivalent. Sorry!

I am trying to find a certain cheat but I don’t know if there is such a cheat. The cheat is family limit I need to know if there is a cheat to turn the family limit off.
Does anyone know how to make a sime stop aging, if they are NOT the active househould? But, I would still like the active household to age.
My sim wont gain any atheltic skill at all? does anybody know why? he hasn’t got any athletic skills and everytime he works out of the gym he doesnt gain any, and his skill bar wont change.. but he gets the effects from it, such as being fatigued and soreness the next day.
Any help would be much appreciated!
hey guys, i have a couple of cheats!!…
1. open the cheat box and type in… familyfunds (last name of family) (numbers)
this gives yuhh as much money as yuhh want, well yuhh need to type in how much yuhh want in the numbers obv!
2. When yuhh start uo the sims game and when iht loads to the menu where yuhh pick your family/start a new game/ or pick a town. When yuhh have dne that befor yuhh start your game type in… testingcheatsenabled true. Once yuhh have done that start your game, as son as iht is finished loading hold down shift and click on the mail box(hold shift and then clcik mail box) and there should be a few things that pop up such as.. set career, force NPC, force visitor, make me know everyone, make frinds for me, and if yuhh want to go to the shops FAST clcik m for map view and zoom in on the shop/ house yuhh want to go to, once yuhh have done that(making sure your sim is still at home)hold shift in and click just outside the shop/ house yuhh are wanting to go to, and then click teleport me here, that should make your sim appear exactly where yuhh clicked!!
3. To get lots of lifetime points there is a cheat(NOT KACHING) that cheat doesn’t seem to work with me!:( anyways open the cheat box then type in testingcheatsenabled true(even if yuhh have done iht at the star of the game, do iht AGAIN!)then click enter, once yuhh have done that, click the lifetime wishes box(the one where yuhh can see your points)there should be i little rectangle, your pints are in the rectangle along with a treasure chest, all yuhh need to do is hold in controll and keep clicking that rectangle and your points shoud go up, and if iht stops going up just move somewhere else in the rectangle and do the same again!! i hope i helped! thanx for reading

I know the cheat if you want more than eight sims in your household. ok first do this.
*Do shift+Ctrl+C and that should make something like a blue line pop up on your sim screen.
*That blue strip should be clickable, so click it and type in “testingcheatsenabled true” Then click enter.
*Nothing should really seem to happen but dont worry.
*Ok now, it’s not really possible (I think) to actually have another sim that is related to ur sims, but for other sims, yes. Ok, you go up to a sim and hold down the shift button while clicking on the sim u want in ur family.
*The option of “Trigger Age Transition” and “Add to active household” should show up, click “Add to active household”
*You can do this if you want a certain Sim, or if you already have eight, now if you DONT have eight nothing new should happen, the sim just got added to the side bar. But if you already have eight, a sim should be not show on the side bar, but don’t worry, just click spacebar, and it will go thru each and every sim.
*Once you see the sim you added in the main thing, stop, then just control that sim, push the spacebar every time you want to use that sim u added if ur on another sim.
*And there. Oh you can do this as many times as you want, you can have like 12 sims if u want, but I’ve never tried so, ya, but I think you can have a lot by doin the same progress, so yeah, hope I helped!

Okay so I was reading through and I noticed a few people can’t even get sims 3 cheats to work! I couldn’t either at forst so don’t worry! Now if your like me then you previously had sims 2? If so then you probably typed in ‘boolprop testingcheatsenabled true’ right? Well in Sims 2 I’ll admitt it was easier and they both have their higher points. Anyway… in the Sims 3 to access many cheats get up the cheat bar (Ctrl, Shift, C) and type in ‘testingcheatsenabled true’ then press shift and click on your mailbox at the front of the house (which is usually by the trash can) It will come up with options like… making your needs as high as possible and unable to go down, make you know everyone in town and even putting yourself at the top of ANY career at the ciclk of a button
but yes I think there is NO way to get your skills max IMMEDIATLY but what I do is put there needs static… make sure they don’t have job and say… work out whilst I’m in the shower or having my dinner.
